I don't know all about that but bringing in a top notch DT would have done wonders along with drafting a defensive player with the 1st pick. The problem is the Panthers didn't have a 2nd rounder to get Dalton.

We did bring in Ron Edwards but he got hurt just like Beason, and Davis plus what defensive player would you have drafted? Not to mention we would have missed out of the best rookie QB in history.
