Terry Bradshaw ranked Dalton ahead of Cam...

Because everyone marvel at how good he was at carrying the Vikings to their victories but forgot about him as soon as he stopped delivery those wins because he was NEVER truly part of the team. Something tells me the same will happen to Cam.

Yea, you fuged that one up pretty bad. I'll leave it there. (and I'm not talking about the failed attempt to quote my post)

Smitty is pretty damn consistent. Stew has far more receiving yards than AP. Olsen, Shockey are both great receiving options. Our offense has plenty of help for Cam.

I don't know what you mean by this - I don't think anyone thinks Cam should win games by himself, but no matter how good our offense is, it needs help from the other sides of the ball to win.

I'm STILL trying to follow this logic of how when we're in a position to repeatedly drive in the 4th quarter when were tied or down by 3 points and win the game and our offense fails to score....it's the defense's fault.

Just one question: who's responsibility is it to score the winning points in a football game?

Okay to put an end to ur logic vs. mine, if the Panthers play the Broncos and

The Golden Calf of Bristol walks away with a win, Then u can come back to be with ur argument at how great ur offense is because it really won't matter if ur defense is letting everyone and their children run up and down the field at free will. Cam put up Matt Stafford #s today and he couldn't get a win while Matthew and the Lions ran all over the Broncos.

I didn't expect the Panthers to run all over the Vikings today but I wish ur AC would stop treating every Sunday game like it's still preseason and just have Cam throw to those who is more consistant at catching a ball and wake the defense up for crying out loud.

Also,no need to boast about ur offensive stats if the guys with the stats aren't playing on a regular basis.

1) No, it doesn't work that way either

2) Good job making a generalization based off of a few people on a message board.

Those are the ones I have been talking to. The ones going nuts with little grasp of reality. Same ones that dont understand football and think Dalton has a better offense, Vince Young got all his wins with the Vikings and so on.....

They are funny

Maybe because he is 5-2 and Cam is 2-5

Correction: Maybe because the Bengals are 5-2 and the Panthers are 2-6.

By that same logic, some decent rookie on a winning team should've won Rookie of the Year instead of Peyton Manning, since his team went 3-13, a record the Panthers most certainly will obliterate.

How do you define "winning points"? When are those scored? Because our defense has given up leads in the 4th quarter. So, if the defense had held, Cam would have scored the "winning points."

The weird thing is, this is a team game, and it's not just about one player. The winning points of a game don't need to come on the last play of that game. So many plays can change what is going to happen.

I'm a member of the Dalton gang! This kid has worked wonders and to think his best weapon is also a rookie. That touchdown strike to Green was a masterpiece. Him and Luck will own this league before long.

You should just go ahead and become a Bengals fan. Hey I've got an idea how about you start posting on their board also.
