a couple pro tips for anyone that likes to use claymores

#1 - put claymore down, then throw an ammo box on top of it. enemy can't see it

#2 - if you find a spawn beacon, don't destroy it. instead throw down a claymore right there. next enemy that spawns will die and the explosion will destroy the spawn beacon as well.

The more that I've played this game (Col. LVL 2, I think?) the more I started appreciating the "non-gun" weapons. The claymore is my favorite, followed by the knife and MAV. I love trolling in the MAV, lol.

I spent an entire round in a MAV on Karkand several times. It's kind of sad because people don't see it as a threat but it's the reason they're getting killed. Also you get squat for flying it around and spotting people. The rest of my team gets like 6000 pts but I get like 1200 even though without me they wouldn't have gotten as much.

I kind of wish they had branched leveling or something. Like Combat Level, Equipment Level, etc. I actually criticized the branched leveling in Payday: The Heist, but I've grown to like it. Level according to your playstyle. That way you actually feel motivated to help your team a little more.

lol i just tried out the mav roadkilling a couple days ago and it's fuggin hillarious to do. i literally bust out laughing every time i get a kill. took me awhile to get used to flying it and still learning. so far 13 kills is the most i've had in one round. i actually got a nemesis bonus against one guy with it lol

it's funny watching 3-4 guys going crazy trying to shoot it down while they're all spotted and my team is moving in to destroy them while they're distracted by my mav. not to mention im standing on top of an ammo box and will have a new mav back up in the air in like 2 seconds if they actually manage to shoot it down.

one thing a lot of people don't realize is that the mav can shoot down the smaller equipment like spawn beacons, t-ugs and other mavs. also, the camera/crosshairs on it are on it's left side, so the hitbox is actually to the right of the crosshairs, not directly on center. knowing that helps a lot in trying to get kills.

I love the way suppression is way more effective. It really cuts down on the running and gunning.

I also like how you can get more 1 shot kills while sniping. And with the suppression bonus, you can really rack up and change the game for your team.

That being said, I HATE the stupid custom servers. Its impossible to find a normal game. I don't want 300000 tickets on Metro. I don't want 300 ticket rush. I don't want a fug around map where you slingshot vehicles.

Its impossible to use "Quick Join" and get a regular server. you have to sit there and comb through all the bullshit now.

(This is on PS3, at least)
