Does it matter if he still makes the plays needed to win? Stats probably don't matter to the Panthers if W's keep stacking up.

I liked how we started throwing that quick screen pass to Smith and also how we incorporated a fake quick screen pass and had him cut in for a quick slant. We need to do that more often to keep defenses on their toes. Also I agree, throw a few in the middle, it doesn't mean you have to do it often, but have him go towards the middle and maybe have another WR come by him to set a screen of sorts. He's our biggest weapon, so the fact he may only touch the ball 9 times can be disappointing even though that's a great number of catches for a WR.
