knew it, the slurping comment was a dead give away. I stopped listening to him right after the foot ball season ended, he's ok during FB season but not worth listening to when it isn't.

I used to listen to Mac Attack for the Panther and Tar Heel homerism and just for the stupid entertainment value, but now that it moved to the morning, I can't. They have Buckner and Frank Garcia on in the mid-day now and it's quite possibly the worst thing on radio EVER. They have no business hosting a show. They can't speak in complete sentences, they're beyond boring, Buckner says "exactly" about 25 times a show, and they aren't funny one bit. It's a sad sad thing. Pack Man is just as awful. So I no longer listen to sports talk radio.

The problem I have with Gantt is that most people here treat him like some God for breaking Panthers news first, and mock any other journalist who makes notes on our Cats. The truth is that Gantt works in Rock Hill and maybe lives there too. I hear slugs move at a faster pace than "Rock Thrill" does. So he has nothing better to do than spend all day up in Charlotte and lick the taint of those who feed him info...which he promptly spits back out...verbatim. He's a suck up, this is true. He's objective, this is true. That's why Yaz left to goto ESPN, where he could branch out and talk about more than one damn thing evey day of his life.

Gantt lives in Charlotte and I doubt he makes it to the office in Rock Hill once a week. He can do his job from home on his computer and if not he can go to the Observer office because its the same company and the Herald is even printed there now. At least he is trying to keep something going on his blog page, there isn't a whole hell of a lot coming from BOA to write about.

Rock Thrill as you call it is just fine the way it is. If we need some excitement all we have to do is go to Charlotte and watch you clowns.

I dont read that liberal garbage known as the Charlotte disturber, but from what I have read from all this ranting it does not seem that Gantt pushes the Panthers with any real questioning. I could be wrong ...but by saying "lunatic fringe" he appears to be totally disregarding the MAJORITY of the fan base. As a reporter he should be pressing the FO about what the MAJORITY fan base thinks . Can you imagine if Fox and Delhomme were with Giants?? The press would have thrown them in the river months ago

Thinking that a journalist making a general comment in a blog is a personal attack on you as an individual is a little crazy in my opinion. Unless of course he referred to you by name. Are you Sam Mills "lunatic fringe" Fan by any chance??
