Pats cut CB Leigh Bodden

i'd be more interested in haynesworth. it's just motivational for him. although he's a high maintenance guy and probably isn't worth the stress and effort because if the hooded one can't get something out of him, i doubt anyone could.

if bodden can make things better here, sure, bring him in. i just don't think he can. i think he's essentially done.

if someone has to pick him off waivers, they have to pay him $2.29mil for the rest of the season. he'd be the 3rd (stretch) or 4th best corner here....maybe. too much money. wait until he passes waivers and the pats will have to pay him and whoever takes him on can pay him the vet min. makes more sense to do that considering what you are getting.

if we do bring him in, i don't want it to be until he clears waivers. dude has too high a price tag for what he is capable of doing.

agree about waivers.

i don't think there will be much competition for him and by the time he passes waivers, we won't have much use for him.

butler will be back and hogan should be ready to go. bodden < gamble, capt. or butler and if hogan can go, then you give him the reps. bodden stands to be the 4th or 5th best option. i just don't see much need for him.

Listen, he won't get claim off of waivers because of his contract. But those saying he won't help are just silly. Hes 30, he won't blow the roof off, but we're acting like we have a top notch secondary, we don't. That said, he'll probably get some calls from some better teams and go there.

going too much on past performance and name recognition.

he's either hurt or slowed down too much. he was the 6th best corner on one of the two worst passing defenses in the league. he'd be at best the 3rd but more likely be the 4th best corner here...one of the worst 5 passing Ds in the league. he'd be no better than that on a better team.

he's looking at 3rd or 4th strong at best where ever he goes based on where he is right now...not last year or two years ago.

I too tired for that. I have an exam to take in about an hour or two.

Fine. I'll do it
