ESPN Picks Between Newton & Luck

This is the only thing I 'disagree' (used loosely) with you on. Luck is fast & doesn't look deceptive to me. Cam is deceptive in his speed b/c he is so big he doesn't look like he's moving that fast.

I don't see how any Panther fan (& I'm not saying you are Montsta) can look over the fact that Luck consciously decided against coming to Carolina. I hate Luck since that decision (it wasn't for a Championship or anything else...he was 'choosing' where to go). I hope he fails, but doubt that will happen.

If anything he was choosing where not to go. If he really wanted to choose where to go he would have come out, and pulled a Eli and say he would refuse to play for us.

But you can't really choose where to go in a year in advance. For all he knew the lockout could have given us the #1 pick again. I think the lockout issue had something to do with it too honestly.

I love me some Cam Newton, and I couldn't be happier that we got him. But you guys that are trying to discredit Luck are just nuts. No pocket presence? The only reason why he takes off so often is because dude is deceptively fast and when he see the defense stretched out and knows he can get an easy 12 yards on a scramble, he takes it. Luck is the real deal, and when he and Cam go toe to toe in the NFCCG or the SB over the next 15 years, it will be some of the best football any of us will get to see as Panthers fans.

I caught the Stanford/USC game last night. Let's just say, it's good to be rich and have family and friends in the right places. Luck is a one read, tuck and run QB from what I saw last night. The USC QB was better IMO.
