ESPN Picks Between Newton & Luck

some of you guys seriously underestimate Luck's athleticism. the dude can run.

He can move a little bit but I dont think he's shifty or has the "miss ability" (??) Cam has. Luck throws a nice ball also. It looks like he just flicks his wrist and the ball shoots out on the money.

I still think Cam has more to offer though. He's proven he can make NFL throws and that was about all Luck had on Cam when they were compared...but..not the case any more.

Luck is a great prospect and I definitely think he's going to be a star, but you never take unproven over proven. Not saying it's proven that Newton will be a super star, but he's shown a helluva lot more than Luck has.

You take Newton 100/100 times.

Yep.

Said it elsewhere. You don't sit wishing you had Peyton Manning if you've got Philip Rivers. Even if Luck does turn out to be the greatest of all time, it won't really matter to us because we already have a QB.

(it's still fun to be able to say that; we haven't for a few years) :D

Why is it they question how Cam will handle an offseason as well as highs and lows of the NFL, yet they don't ask the same of Luck? I also LOL at all of Kipers reasoning, completley disregarded anything Newton had done, so u are going to use the draft grade u gave someone when selecting between the two when one has already played NFL games and proven himself.

I don't think there's a trade that can be made to make me give up cam. What more do does the world want from this kid? He's already broken payton's record for passing yards in a game, he's tied the NFL record for rushing touchdowns in a season in 7 games! What more has to be said??? He's answered two of his biggest questions in the first half of the season. Can he read and pass from the pocket in the NFL? Check. Can he run on NFL defense and does it translate to the league? Check.

I really don't even care what luck comes in and does next year. I really don't see him matching cam's play. He won't have 7 rushing touchdowns. He can't make some of the amazing throws we've seen cam make(i m not sure his arm is as strong enuff to hit some of the stuff we've seen).
