Also talking about Panther for life simply goes against the odds. How many good QBs played with one team their entire career?

First off it's not going to be 4 years, it's 5 years. the team has a 5th year option on him for 13 million. Just like all first round draft picks have in the new CBA. His deal can be reworked after the 3rd year. So if he doesn't want to play here after 5 years, Carolina can keep him for two more years for a total of 7. I'm not worried about it, I don't see him wanting to leave.
