I didn't realize he was an AP last year.

I love Chris, he is one of my favorite Panthers of all time, but I think we had him in his prime and if you get released from a team with a bad secondary, that's not a good sign. Hopefully he will sign on with someone with a chance to get a ring.

He liked being in Carolina and I think special teams is PERFECT for him...but would he be willing to swallow his pride and do it? He might get a chance to start if injuries continue to be a trend at the safety position...

but yea, I don't think he's coming back to Carolina.

I don't know but I'd love to have Jake's leadership on this team on the bench. It's not like Anderson or Clausen could ever do anything if they had to play anyway. I'd rather have Jake cheering on the bench than Anderson or Clausen who doesn't even get dressed anymore. Jake would at least serve a purpose and not be a total waste of a roster spot.

Yes. He is from Charleston. His dad was the vp of academic affairs at MUSC. He gave the commencement speach a few years ago when my friend graduated from med school.
