I can't wait for Gettis to get back!!!!

Drew Carter dropped a lot of balls. Nannee looks good in comparison.

Regarding Gettis, he certainly showed some promise. But he might not be back at 100% next year. I was listening to a local doctor talk about an ACL injury regarding a local college football player, and the doctor said that in most cases, it takes a couple of years for a player to fully recover from a torn ACL, ie regain all his speed and agility.

I think Wes Welker's drop off and then subsequent resurgence this year is an example of that.

would rather draft DT than OLB

FS is interesting, not confident in Martin?

I disagree.

We drafted two young DT's in the 3rd round that have a lot of potential. DT's not named Suh usually take 2-3 years to develop in the NFL. Adding another rookie DT will NOT help the middle of the line.

Draft OLB and supplement DT with vet FA's (already have him on the roster....just on IR).

Lol! Everybody keep acting like gettis is the second coming of J. Rice. Yeah, he made some plays his rook season, but come on. He could also be a dud. Ive been fooled too many times with, drew Carter, Colbert, and a cast of where are they now receivers. For crying out loud, lets wait and see what we have in three or four yrs, if he is still around.

This post here is what gives me hope for the huddle.

I was gonna say the same thing, yes he has shown some skills but the dude had ONE good game last year. Not enough to make me a believer

Still though, if there's an appealing enough DT, CB, or OLB come the 2012 draft, you take BPA between the three. I think they are all big enough a priority.

When I say BPA I'm talking targeting a defensive 'game changer' type player. We need to be able to force more turnovers bottom line

For everyone saying Gettis is the best deep threat on the team, you are all IDIOTSSSSS.

Look at Steve Smith, averaging 21 yds a catch, he goes up and gets everything. Sorry, taking nothing away from the potential Gettis has, but not calling Smith a deep threat and not calling him the best deep threat on the team is the biggest insult to the entire team.
