Vikings pass defense by the numbers

Recommended Posts

you tell me to elaborate and after that you have nothing say back? come on man.

its because you did exactly what he wanted you to do

Who cares if fans like being overly unrealistic & optimistic. its called being a fan who doesn't put such an emphasis on predicting & stat sheet crap

Its fun. Stop critiquing other fans.

Ok well I'll fire back. You're spitting out Steve Smith's stats from previous years and games as if this one is the same. Make no mistake, it's not the same. Steve Smith is already on target to shatter his previous records in yardage as it is, and that is with less receptions. While I don't agree he will have 15+ receptions, to say that Steve won't break his yardage record, I'd say hold steady on that one chief. Cam is able to throw Steve open in ways this team has never seen before. They are getting better rapport each week, I wouldn't be surprised to see a WOW game from the duo before the season is out. This game has that feel all over it.

Vikings lead the league in Sacks

2nd in Tackles

11th in Forced Fumbles (6 in 7 games)

2nd in safeties

Other stats look terrible though

But we may possibly have the best Oline in the NFL aside from Bell. And Cam can make things happen and make the best defensive players miss left and right. IT's not like we have Clausen or Delhomme back there that just stand there and never do anything.

Best O-line in the NFL? No way.

We have a good enough o-line with a QB with immense pocket presence. poo it's like a fuging swag shield around him. As long as we don't have any fug-ups where a free man is coming through off the edge like last week, we should have enough time in the pocket.

Also, that Tight End Screen to shockey. God we need more of that. That thing was perfect. looked like shockey whiffed on a block, but it completely played the defensive guy out of position.
