Ponder can throw it, AP can run it.....they'll score some points. I don't think we'll score enough to keep up.

Panthers 24, Vikings 31

Disagree. Whatever their O can put up on our D, we can outdo.

Against the Washington Redskins defense, it's worth mentioning that on a day where Steve Smith has 143 receiving yards, the Carolina Panthers put up 33 points and none were by Smith.

We may not have a true #2 receiver yet, but that speaks volumes about the pressure that's also being taken off Smith and the dynamics of this offense. Even though Smith still got the bulk of receiving yards and is having a superb year, we have a lot of freaking weapons that can score points. We barely used our TEs too. We put up 400+ yards and a guy like Olsen only caught 1 pass for 4 yards. We need to score 50 points a game and 500 yards of of total offense to keep all of these guys fed.

Whatever game plan their D may have to try to stop our O from scoring, we can change in an instant and re-direct our efforts somewhere else. If Smith gets shutdown, we got somewhere else to go. If our receivers get shutdown, we have our TEs. If the passing game gets shutdown, we can run. If both of those get shutdown Cam can still scramble and use the option.

We'll outscore them. They also have a ton of injuries and guys that although will probably play will not be 100%:

-Adrian Peterson missed Wednesday's practice due to hurt ankle form last week

-Also: Percy Harvin, Visanthe Shiancoe, Erin Henderson and Anthony Herrera all missed practice Wednesday

-Herrera is doubtful for Sunday

-Remi Ayodele, linebacker E.J. Henderson, defensive end Brian Robison and cornerback Antoine Winfield were all limited

-Sanford, Sullivan and safety Husain Abdullah have to pass concussion tests to play.

Even if most of those guys play....that's a huge chunk of their starting line-up missing at least one day of practice. That can't be good when preparing for a game.

The Vikings have not scored over 17 points in any game on the road. Most of you forget that Minnesota is not a good road team at all.

I'd throw that out as they were starting utterly washed up McNabb, God knows why they even signed him, but yeah I like the Panthers at home for this one.

And I'll throw out that Ponder may be fine at home but lets see how he fares in a hostile environment as a rookie. Lets remember that no matter how good Cam has looked, he has not won a road game either. What makes you think Ponder will not struggle like Gabbert and Beck have??

You're BIG on talking about this Road vs. Home deal.
