The one thing I'll say this week about the Vikes game...

jared allen needs to be doubled all game. our special teams need to play average. other then that it should be a gimme. our offense should have no trouble with them.

Cam's best developing ability seems to be his mobility while remaining a pocket-style QB. He's become a scrambler on smarter and smarter occasions as the season has gone on and his size makes him not some guy you can just trip up.

Basically, the biggest pain in the ass for guys like Peppers & Allen

5 to the Chiefs

3 to the Lions

4 to the Bucs

7 to the Chargers

Bottom line, I think our offense will be able to get this win, if the defense makes a few stops. Vikings defense can't stop our offense at all imo.

Packers defense hasn't been playing very well at all, dunno why people seemed like it was a big deal for Ponder to go against this defense. Omar is probably gonna be back and Gamble has been a shutdown corner so far............

Our running game is either going to have to be dominant or our offense is simply going to have to be able to score fast enough to where AP can't keep up.

Packers have a bend but don't break defense, giving up more yards but making was less dumb mistakes and subsequently giving up less points than the average team.

As posted earlier, I watched the Vikings game today and Ponder looks pretty good. Better than his stats for sure. This is not a walkover game.

Given you are pretty much an anti-panthers fan, forgive me if I don't think much of your opinion. Last week I heard about how great Beck was and we saw how that turned out. Ponder didn't even complete half his passes. As long as our defense plays well, we should definitely hold our own.

Ponder is going to have a harder time every game because of film. Lets hope McDermott and Rivera have something in store for him.

We are ranked 17th in defense, Minnesota is ranked 19th. We are giving up 26 points a game, they are giving up 25. So the defense is largely a wash.

On offense we are ranked 5th in yards and are averaging 23 points a game. Minnesota is 21st in yards and averaging 21 points a game.

Breaking it down to this matchup.

At home we are giving up 23 points a game and scoring 25 points a game. On the road Minnesota is giving up 28 points a game and scoring 15 points a game. Their closest road loss was 5, the biggest road loss was 29. People need to understand that they play much better in the dome than they do on the road. And this game is on the road.
