Yea he was a gold glove CF pretty much his whole time in ATL. His swing was never that great, he would swing for the fences every time he was up. As soon as he aged a little bit his presence at the plate declined sharply. Atlanta definitely got the most out of him....and oh yea Smitty and Cam are awesome!

Hurney. Some better moves on the defensive side after Beason, Davis, and Edwards all went down, and they might be already pretty much be a lock for the Playoffs...this season.

You score 29, 27, 23, and 21 points, and for most teams with any defense worth a crap, those are victories...unless you're the Panthers and you're giving up 30.

Hurney owed Smith after the terrible QBs he's put up with the last few years. To not do something about this defense was criminal, when the offense is lighting it up.

For a defensive specialist, I'll take 265 and 35 all day everyday and twice on Sundays.

He's no Matt Kemp, but those were very solid numbers in ATL.

Yes, sometimes a veteran pro showing a rookie the ropes can be a beautiful thing. I recently watched a video called "Cougars and Kittens" and it was a great example of just that.
