I posted after the Cards game that the first 8 games this year will be an extended Preseason for us. New HC, supershort off-season, rookies, injuries... there are a myriad of things affecting this team which is going to take time to correct. Time we didn't have that we normally would have.

Unfortunately, these game count. But that's ok, because if we finish in the bottom 8, we'll get a good pick.

After watching that mess last night they called prime-time football, I think we would have destroyed the #6 Ravens. Substitute Cam's lasers for Gabbert's wounded ducks and we would have won easily. That is the kind of thing that makes these ratings so dicey.

Our team would not be capable of shutting down the Ravens offense the way the Jags did last night.
