Need some creative ideas

I work at JIRDC. We have a big Christmas parade every year on the 1st Thurs in Dec (Sir Purr attends). It is the biggest prarade in the region, usually have at least a dozen high school marching bands, lots of great floats. Eash cotttage enters a float...there is a prize for the best one. It is pretty competitive.

This year's parade theme is "Christmas through a child's eyes." So, looking for help with some good ideas.

do a huddle theme with "the joy of a childs first bicycle"

it can be toy related and how they observe adults. keep it simple but just imagine if kids got to build the float with toys. what would the toys do, what kind of toys would they be etc?
