PSLs/Season tickets are a commitment. Just going down to the stadium on a whim creates situations like Sunday. Season tickets can always be scalped, sure. But when you are selling PSLs at $3k minimum, that eliminates a large portion of fans that could afford just regular season ticket packages.

But it's easy to buy a regular season package of tickets from a PSL owner. It's easy to buy a PSL from an existing owner. People cant get rid of them at greatly reduced prices. The problem IMO, is the basic demand for for a wide variety of reasons.

I went to the game and was shocked and disgusted with how many Skins fans there were. This is an exciting team to watch (one of the most exciting in the league). I don't know what its going to take for Charlotte to get fully on board with this franchise. I guess its going to take a dying out of all the Cowboys/Redskins fans and people growing up as Panther fans.

I guess this is off subject but I thought it was funny how empty Jacksonville's stadium was on MNF. It was sad looking. And the only fans there were major dorks. I wish I could afford to go to Panthers games. I'd be at all of them. Lower the prices!

If you wanted to go to games, you'd find a scalper. Half hour before kickoff - you're in for about 1/2 face value.

He understands why it happens and wants to change that issue in the culture of this team.

I agree with that....

I've been to numerous Panther games and I only paid more than $20 for a ticket once in the last 10 years. It's not the prices.....it's just the type of transplanted city Charlotte is with D*mn Yankees like myself. It will happen, it's just gonna take a few more years for this younger generation of Panther fans to really start filling BOA up. I want that stadium to be raucous and I don't want to feel welcome when my team is visiting and I think it is inching that way a bit more each year. Having Cam looking like the superstar he is will only speed up that process because winning fixes everything.

First of all there were a ton of Washington fans before there were any Panther fans so like is common, converted panther fans came out to the game in Washington gear which they sport when we play Washington. Secondly with the prices in Washington being higher than here, many Washington fans travel here so they can see their team just like Pittsburgh and Green Bay.

As for PSLs going lower, it will never happen unless a ton of folks turn them in. Except for around 5 or 6 thousand tickets which are single game seats, the remainder are PSLs and they are largely gone. The issue is that many PSl owners can sell their seats to opposing fans for face or even more, so they do.

If you want to fill up the stands with Panther fans, then buy the tickets from PSl owners like the opposing fans do. Otherwise as long as you are going to be too cheap to spend the money it will go to the highest bidder. That is the American way like it or not.

And yes some PSl owners will only sell them to Panther fans or like me I gave one away last week at the tailgate to a Panther fan rather than sell it to an skins fan, but to assume with the economy so bad that PSL owners won't sell it for the most money is crazy.
