I'd rather give up 300 rushing yards to a stud like Adrian Peterson than 300 passing yards to rookie Christian Ponder. At least we could say we got beat by the best RB in football and chalk it up to that than the much larger "we got torn up by a rookie" discussion.

I mean obviously I'll take any statistic from the other team if the Panthers win. But if Ponder tears up the defense AND wins, I would have rather it been Peterson doing the destruction.

They SHOULD run blitz a lot. Ponder will get a few miracle throws and Peterson will get at least 100+ yards. But if they pick off Ponder a couple times and Cam stays turnover free, I see it being a win no matter what Peterson does.
