Chudzinski a HC possibility?

There is absolutely zero chance that he will be interviewed for the Miami job.

They are ready to make a splash, and a OC from a potential 7-9 team (or even 8-8) wouldn't be the media sensation that the current ownership will be looking for.

Indy? Again, no way. The man with the veto for that is most likely Manning himself, and I am sure that he's got his eye on someone from the Dungy / Infante coaching tree. I don't know if there's any history between Chud and anyone on that staff.

Besides, he's got a clear road to being a super bowl winning coordinator -w- Cam and that is worth at least 3 years of dedication.

Pat Shurmur Mike McCarthy would disagree

Chud's offense is putting up big yards but average points.

Right now they are averaging 23.7 points a game, 416 yards and a third down coversion percentage of 42%.

By comparison when he was OC for Cleveland in 07/08:

In 2007 Cleveland averaged 25.1 points a game, 351 yards, and 42% third down conversions

In 2008 Cleveland averaged 14.5 points a game, 247 yards and 34% third down conversions.

I think it is too early to know if he is a great OC let alone a great HC candidate. Lets see what he does this year and see if he can do it again next year before annointing him as great right now.

Sure, money is undefeated.

Chud has been hit or miss as an OC over his career. He will have to show something spectacular in order for any team to take him on as a HC. I just don't see that happening without a SB ring, given the talent he obviously has at hand.

As far as the Miami job, it's pretty well known that they are looking to bring in a big name guy to get the fans excited about buying tickets to yet another rebuilding year. Sure he was OC at Miami but again, what has he done in the NFL? It's simply not going to move the needle, you'd get more bang by signing The Golden Calf of Bristol after the Broncos cut him at the end of this year.

IDK a very high draft pick (QB) will excit the fan base. If not Luck then one of the other hotshots.
