"Cam should be the big story in the NFL right now."

My God, I just read those comments below the blog and it freakin scares me that people can be so ignorant. They all think Cam is just a runner so you know damn well none of them have actually watched him play. We really need a prime time game so the world can see what we see.

Haha I liked that one insane Vick rant. Him and Cam Newton are both the same kind of quarterback and same person in case you didn't know.

What a tool:

Guess what, I know another black running back who was the end all be all for mobile QB’s too, I man this guy was probably the fastest player on the field and he was behind center! poo, I mean this guy was so damn good he even managed to trick a team into paying him $100 million after rotting for nearly 2 years in prison for executing dogs. Well, that idiot broke his leg once doing his damn thang, and he also has about 3 concussions this year, gets crushed on the regular by D-ends, and will never win a superbowl. So, I’m going w/ Rodgers without even thinking twice about it.

as much as I like Cam, Rodgers is lighting the entire league on fire. He may not be as mobile as Cam but he's got enough to keep defenses honest and his mastery of that offense is incredible...

Given where each player is right now, I think you could make an argument for either player, but I'd go with Rodgers I think. He's still got more than enough years under his belt that I think he'd be the one to build around.

The Golden Calf of Bristol playing ok in the final two minutes beating a poo Miami team = who cares?

He may have the heart of a lion but he's not a good enough qb and he will fade away. We all just have to deal w/ the media coverage for now.

I don't hate religion, and Cam has had better games than The Golden Calf of Bristol, he has a better completion rating and is overall the better QB and deserves recognition. First you say "Cam isn't winning" now it's "The Golden Calf of Bristol's first game" get the the fug out of here. The Golden Calf of Bristol was nothing spectacular that game yet the media is praising him.

The media talks about what is current, what is hot, what is now. The Golden Calf of Bristol starting his first game is a bigger deal to them than Cam getting his second win. I wish you could understand that. And Cam isn't winning, he's 2-5. And so sorry I didn't type "The Golden Calf of Bristol's first start", Mr. critical. If you don't understand why the media likes The Golden Calf of Bristol, well... I can't help you. Most everyone else can understand it.

Most of those idiots don't have a clue. I guess to them any QB who can shed tackles and pick up yards with their legs is a "running QB". Those fools will never appreciate the complete player that Cam is

I can't argue with that, Rodgers is definitely at the right point in his career and in complete control of that offense. I like to think Cam's ceiling is just as high. Hopefully he has just as much success too

I honestly miss it when we were not talked about it much. All espn and nfl media did was criticize

Cam til they that he can actually perform on this level. All this sudden The Golden Calf of Bristol love is nonsense as well.

let's be honest, the The Golden Calf of Bristol win made a hell of a story. any team that comes down from being shutout for 55 minutes to scoring 15 points in the last 3 minutes to take it to overtime - and then wins - is bound to get some attention. The Golden Calf of Bristol's return to miami and the circumstances of his playing made this the perfect storm for the media.

it'll die down, The Golden Calf of Bristol will probably look mediocre at best for the rest of the season, and we can focus on how awesome cam is along with the rest of the media.
