I'd take him on this team in a heartbeat.

hall is and always has been the most overrated cornerback the nfl has ever seen. you look at the deeper numbers in his career (not picks, but numbers such as yards/catch allowed and catches/target allowed, dont forget tackling stats like yards after catch allowed and tackles at scrimmage) and he has always been on the low end of the entire nfl. theres a reason hes been cut from teams and demoted to 3rd and 4th string cb on multiple occasions.

not only that but smith has too much fun tearing him a new asshole.

And the dumb-as-poo Redskins gave him a huge contract and kept him over a guy like Carlos Rogers who is burning it up in a new life out in San Francisco this year. Rogers was always strong in passes defended numbers and a very strong tackler from the corner, he just had a tendency to drop INTs that hit him in the hands (which is why Hall had more INTs).

So the Redskins went with Flash over Substance and the Forty Niners truly appreciate it.

well i remember when hall first went to the redskins after being cut. he was the 4th stringer for a while then snyder saw he had pizzazz or whatever and got him promoted.

wouldnt surprise me if rogers didnt wanna stay either.

Rogers mainly left because of a direct dispute with Hall.
