Above are the teams and the points the Redskins Defense allowed before yesterday, which gives you an idea of how dangerous the Panthers Offense can be. I really think this Offense should put up 24+ points per game no matter who we play, we just need a Defense to hold teams to less than that on the other-side of the ball.

Below are Cam's game-game Pass Attempt/Completion Stats this season, he had far fewer pass attempts vs. Redskins but was much more Efficient than the previous games.

Going into yesterday vs. Redskins, Cam was Avg. over 38 Pass Attempts a game with over 22 completions. Against the Redskins, only 23 attempts. Look what an established Run Game does for his overall stats.

Comp. Attempts Comp% Yards

AZ 24 37 64.9 422

Packers 28 46 60.9 432

Jags 18 34 52.9 158

Bears 27 46 58.7 374

Saints 16 31 51.6 224

ATL 21 35 60 237

Redskins 18 23 78.3 256

Yup, our offense is in it's infancy and we're already one of the most explosive offenses in the league.

Really encouraged by LaFell's development, when Gettis returns and we have two burners along with LaFell taking over for Naanee in the slot, we're going to be unstoppable.

makes me giddy thinking about the future. it seems the redskins's D is bend but don't break. the only other two teams to score over 20, AZ and PHILLY, on the skins came from big plays. i like the fact that we really only had one big play, which i might add was NOT a busted coverage, just a well-thrown and well-caught ball. looking forward to improving this one game at a time.

    • What are the matchups, stats and superlatives?   I think this will be a hard game. Bucs are a very balanced team on offense:  7th  in total yards per game, 7th in passing, 10th in rushing. Baker is having another career year even better than last year but despite missing his Godwin and Evans. Bucs defense is poor (29th) particularly passing defense, but we’re also depleted in our receiving with Coker and Sanders likely out. Running Chuba is key but their defense is better against the run. (16th) I think this is likely going to require us to score a lot of points to keep up and hopefully the home field advantage tips the scale in our favor. My other concern is our run defense and being able to stop their rookie study Bucky Irving who the Bucs have shifted more carries to recently and he’s averaging 5.4 ypc and knows how to get into the endzone with 5 TDs so far.
    • This is nonsense and you know it. People will be happy when we are consistently and convincingly winning games against good teams. There are people in here talking down to others after losses and barely beating the terrible NY Giants. If you want to strut around here like only you are a real Panthers fan and rage pooing posts because your jimmies are rustled then hey good luck with all that. I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving.
    • Who had the massive meltdown last year? Hope they feel better this year.
