The D will give up yards, especially to AP. Our offense will win it, but the D needs to give them a short field or two to get a good lead and take the Vikings out of the running game.

I don't get the Adrian Peterson fear.

Last 2 years AP has averaged 86 rushing yards per game.

Peterson doesn't have 7000 yards rushing in his career yet. Gain another 5000 yards in the NFL and we'll carve out a HOF bust for him.

Fug Peterson and the 1-6 Vikings.

Deangelo Williams has a higher career yards per rush attempt average than Adrian Peterson, DWill for the HOF.

Three points is the home advantage...can't see why Vegas would change anything else considering how this year has gone for both teams. We've busted the line every game except for ARZ and ATL I think.

As for AP, it all depends on how the first half starts....get that led early, it's all good. Kinda like the GB game...except MINN isn't GB.

Ummm yeah, 86 a game still gives you 1376 over 16 games. That's good enough to get 3rd overall in rushing yards last year.

Doesnt the line change as people bet on it? The moving from 4.5 to 3 is because plenty of people are seeing us cover week in & week out, no? I dont know much about odds & betting the spread because I dont do it...

Even if AP goes off......the Vikings secondary is beatup and bad. No reason to believe we don't have a realistic shot at out scoring a hot Peterson.

I just watched the Vikings game from last week on NFL replay. Ponder looked amazing at times and sloppy at others. He is not a walkover QB.

I never really got it based on his stats either, but I've taken the time to actually watch him in games recently, and the man is a monster. I still think Jamaal Charles is the best in the NFL and Arian Foster is getting there, but Peterson is legit. He's a mix between D-Lo's elusive quickness and J-Stew's never give up, never go down attitude/running style.

I agree he has talent, it just gets on my nerves there are 2 threads in the Panther forum, both speculating whether AP will get 300 yards on us Sunday. :mad5:
