Adrian Peterson

From the earlier argument:

Newton, who has yet to lose a fumble, had no giveaways in the team's two victories.

"In all those games, if I wouldn't have had a turnover, I think we'd probably be undefeated right now. I'm not saying that just to say that. I believe that," Newton said.

Anytime you guys wanna know the truth or what Newton's thinking...just ask. It's like every thought I have had this year him or this coach came out and said it the next day and backed it up. It's ESP baby;)

Again, turnovers killed us and remains key. 2-0 when we throw no turnovers or finish in the 4th quarter. Thank God he gets it.

I believe that too Cam. Keep your head on your shoulders this Sunday and just remember: there's no rule that says a rookie has to throw a lot of pics in his first year or has to have a top 5 D to win games. You won't find it anywhere in the NFL rule book.

All I'm saying is it's from the horse's mouth. And I never said never turn over the ball. It's not about never turning over the ball. It's about keeping it to 1 or under when you can't finish and finishing when you can't keep it to 1 or under. If you turn over the ball you gotta overcome the pressure and finish strong in that 4th quarter. And that was the main reason, as Cam just said, why we didn't win in our 5 losses which is what that argument was about...not the future.

It's an either or concept and very much doable and necessary.

And having said that, as long as Cam Newton is thinking "I'm not going to turn over the ball" and not Adrian Peterson, that's all I need to know about this game coming Sunday. He's priorities are certainly on point and in order.

All that proves is that he's a leader and not willing to throw teammates under the bus as a rookie. Nice try though.

No it proves he views REALITY square in the face and points the finger where it should be even though most of the fan base doesn't. And that's what the more objective minds want to see in their QB.

He's not saying it because he wants to come off sounding like a great leader. Again:

Newton, who has yet to lose a fumble, had no giveaways in the team's two victories.

"In all those games, if I wouldn't have had a turnover, I think we'd probably be undefeated right now. I'm not saying that just to say that. I believe that," Newton said.

Notice the underline part. When he says those words, he means it. That's the one thing about Cam Newton. He wears his heart and his thoughts on his sleeves. He's rarely said anything pre-fabricated or to sound politically correct so far and you should never take one of his comments, especially when he says I believe it, as him being superficial.

He doesn't know how to be superficial, though they're trying to teach him that. What you see and what you hear is what you get with Cam.

PS: And yes, he's bipolar as fug ;) When he gets giddy he's up there and when he loses, he's in a freaking hole so deep he's the only one that understands the kind of pain he's feeling which is why he'll sometimes tell someone to go fug themselves. And call me crazy, but I also believe this is the reason he's wildly inaccurate at times. He gets way too excited sometimes and at others quite deflated. The guy's driven by his emotions but in his case, he never needs to change that. He just needs to learn how to control them during a game, and especially overcome them in the 4th.
