Yeah but that really irks me. As hard as these guys work to get that stat and Beck cheats him out of it by throwing it into the ground... Should've been ruled a fumble or a sack... He had no other option but to go down and wasn't trying to make a play.

Nah, we won, so I don't feel like bitching about our team... I'm just disgusted with how Beck squirmed out of that sack. It was cheap. If QBs wanted, they could just do the same thing everytime they're about to go down and it goes down as if it never happened. That sucks.

I still don't get how the tuck rule isn't intentional grounding sometimes.. that ball doesn't cross the LoS and the QB is usually in the pocket.

Needless to say, he did worse by trying to throw it away. Could have been picked, they lost a down and some yardage. Should have just taken the sack.

No, on the play Hardy sacked him on he threw it into the ground right behind Hardy's back as he was going down (which was like 1 foot or less in front of him). There was no danger of it getting picked, it wasn't even a football play... that's why it was so cheap. It had no purpose besides just not wanting to give Hardy the sack.

Yeah, I'm just saying, if they count a sack for hurrying a QB out of bounds behind the LOS without actually touching him, then this should count as well. I'm not sure I've ever seen a cheaper, less intelligent football play.
