First I dont want any player from USC unless they fall to a deep round pick. They are all very soft. As for Hurney being at the pro day...i was there and did not see him at all.

South Carolina ranked as the 13th best defense in the NCAA giving up 3,795 yds and 34 td's all year. This was one of the nastiest defenses at the beginning of the year that i've seen at Carolina for a while. They also were ranked 1st in SEC total defense for a good part of the year.

And Jasper Brinkley is a MLB that weighs around 265 pounds and maxed out at 26 reps in the Weight Lifting drill, the 5th best in this years LB class.

Please explain to me how this is soft.

I'm not too impressed with any little Carolina products as of late. Rice was the best prospect in the last 3 years and so far I'm not impressed.

I have no issue with that at all. The Steelers like the Panthers build thier team thru the draft. Although, the Steelers were a bit flashier this year on offense , they tend to be a smash mouth team with a nice RB combo also. But notice one thing....the Steelers offense tends to be a bit more exciting then ours.

pit threw the ball more and had a couple more passing TDs but other than that...the panthers blew them away. they scored more points, had more yards per play (passing and rushing), and had more big plays. They were able to do this with less plays and less time of possession, less turnovers....look at the stats and ranking below and tell me who, during the regular season, would have been more exciting to watch? (and by exciting, i don't mean frustrating)

If Jarrett looks like the elevator doesn't go to the top after this year, yes he is a bust. I don't think that's the case at this point though, he made some very clutch catches in 2008.
