Here's a thought...

The minimum approach velocity for landing even a small airplane is about 90 Knots.

That's 103.5 mph. One wheel screws up... and yeah... you're looking at something like this. Not to mention planes are a good bit more flimsy than cars to keep weight to lift ratios down. Oh... and aviation fuel burns more intensely than car gasoline.

This is why I don't like flying.
