Panthers vs Redskins History

First of all I found this tidbit from bleacher report:

The Redskins and Panthers have played just eight times with the Redskins holding a 6-1 series advantage.

That was from 2008 but I thought it was funny that someone couldn't count to 8.

Anyway the current record is 7-2 for the redskins but we have 2 of the last 3. All nine games have been decided by a total of 26 net points.

6 games have been decided by exactly three points (and another game by 2 points and another by 4).

The December 1998 match-up was a lowpoint for the Panthers. Barely got out of the 30's and rainy and the stadium was basically empty. I was there. Panthers lost and Capers was fired soon after.

The other one that comes to mind was the 2001 overtime game where Arrington had a 70 yard pick 6.

I went to one of those games when I was a kid up in DC with my dad. We are originally from the area and my uncle gave us tickets. It was pretty awesome actually. I got to see Darrell Green play in one of his last seasons and Biakabatuka actually had himself a game that day.

We lost though. Still had a great time.
