Tom wearing an MLB's team hat is not the same as if Tom was wearing a San Diego Chargers hat 4 days after a loss to the Chargers.

sure it is....them wearing them has nothing to do with the team on the hat. CJ is just thinking about style....and so is Brady when he wears his Yankee hat. Nothing more.

Everybody can go back and forth on this forever (and it looks like they might) but the bottom line is our opinions on the matter aren't the same as his. To him, it's just not a big deal. Kevin Durant was asked recently about wearing a Chicago Bulls hat and his response was: 'It just happened to match my outfit the best" haha. I mean he's from GA and he's @ a bar, ha. As long as he's busting his @$$ out on the field on Sunday afternoon then I could care less. :chillpill: <-- take 2 with your favorite drink and relax!

I think the difference is timing, we just lost a divisional game to our divisional rival(Atlanta Falcons) and 4 days later our highest paid player is out tweeting pics of himself in a Falcons hat. The loss still hurts to us diehard Panther fans and to see CJ rocking their hat hits a nerve. I understand that it just matches the outfit he was wearing but that doesn't mean I can't have an issue with it. If KD was wearing a Bulls hat out after they had just lost to the Bulls is much different then him wearing it in the off season.

So if Tom Brady is seen out wearing a Chargers hat after a loss to the Chargers it is the same as if he was seen out wearing a Yankee hat? I don't think Patriots fans would feel the same about that. I understand the whole "style" thing but it was the timing, I mean come on we just lost to the Falcons Sunday.

I see the reason, but who cares. These guys like the "thug" look and what city is better than ATL to fit that look?

I bet the people that are getting mad about this are the ones that:

1. Still wear their high school letter jackets to high school games

2. Still mouth opposing teams at high school games

3. Tell the same lame high school football stories at all family events year after year.

again, you can't bring up the Charger hat....

the Yankee and Falcon hat are both worn for style.....and that is something deeply rooted.

Not the same thing as just saying a Charger hat matches these colors so that can be stylish as well.

Well the Falcon hat was worn because CJ is from Georgia and the reason I threw the Charger's hat out there for Brady is because he is from California you can switch it to a Raiders or a 49er's if you want, my point is still the same. Your fanbase is not going to be happy with you wearing a hat of a team that just beat you, I don't care if its for style or you are just trying to represent your city/hometown.

more than him just being from GA. Falcon gear like that is just culturally stylish. Tons of people grew up wearing the gear and has little to do w/ being a fan of football or that team.

anyway, non issue. Better topics to beat into the ground than this one.

how bout CJ wearing sweatpants and a hoodie to a restaurant that sells $34 steaks? that might be the real travesty here...

that's like those ghetto ass dudes wearing gym shorts, a backwards hat, and nike sandals with tube socks to a country club.

Tuck your fuging shirt in asshole

So is Raiders gear what is your point? Like I said the timing was wrong and if he would have just said "hey guys sorry I didn't even think about how it would upset you fans" I don't think it would be an issue but he was defiant and said he was going to make it his avi pic on twitter. Come on man some of us are passionate fans and want our players to be as passionate for our team as we are not just collecting a check from the highest bidder.
