Why the hell does beer cost so much in the stadium

Yup, equilibrium price is 8/bottle. Now if you shift down the demand curve to 2/bottle the amount sold will quadrouple.

The thing that really gets me is the bastards dont even give you the cap.

If that were true, they would lower the price to $2. The demand isn't perfectly elastic. Between the beer vendors and the NFL, we're not dealing with the kind of people who don't know the revenue maximizing price.

Get some plastic 8oz flasks from rumrunner dot com set of three costs about $12, also on Amazon.

Been using them for years. Hell, I carry them in my pockets and never once been caught because lets face it, the pat down for the game is nothing short of the stadium staff making sure you aren't trying to get in an AK-47 and a refrigerator for personal use.

beer (miller, bud light) at the stadium is around 7$ each. Now a Heineken in the club section is also $7, I'm not sure if this is offered elsewhere but just wait 5 minutes after kickoff and pay 50$ for some club seats.

I personally can't "sneak in my liquor" because I am not at the game to get completely wasted and beer is best at a game IMO. Can't really sneak it in. Occasionally I've take a shot before I go in to get things jump started. Can't say beer prices are all that bad. I paid that much at Oktoberfest, granted a way better beer. But you always pay high prices at games, it's like candy at a movie theater.

Eh i dont care i dont drink beer in the stadium.. get that done at the tailgate.. they didnt raise the ticket prices.. (cause they were losing enough PSL owners already.. so .. they raised beer a buck and all the softdrinks a buck.. to make up for it..

save money.. ride the light rail in.. or park in the 5/10 buck lots.. buy at Frugal mcDougals and drink at the tailgate :) take water bottle in and ta dah .. no $ inside the stadium :)
