This is why I love Newton

Considering that BOA is built just like Arrowhead, arguably the loudest in the NFL, there's no reason why we can't get the place rocking on Sundays.

Win games, and the noise will follow.

Yep. It really is that simple.

The Panthers have never had a legacy to build a large following on, but despite that, getting tickets to games in 2003 was not easy. Once the team catches up with the Cam train, and we get the Ws, the stadium will start getting flooded regularly with Panthers fans.

absolutely true.

imo, the fanbase takes on the nature of the team and the team takes on the nature of the HC.

if rivera can foster a "punch you in the face" personality in the team by scheme and coaching and the players can use that to win games, then you will see it in their attitudes. they'll believe and the wins will prove it. the fans will then believe.

so far this year the crowd has been very loud on TV. much louder than it has been in years. it can be better.

the team and fanbase with foxy around had become very complacent and mediocre and then turned to frustration and just didn't show up. all of that is changing now, though.

I hope Cam focuses all of his swag and "fire in the belly" into becoming one of the most ACCURATE passers in the NFL.

I want him to be a bit of a gunslinger and take chances out there, BUT I'd like him to have the accuracy of Clint Eastwood in one of his cowboy movies like "Unforgiven" or "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly".

Being "quick on the draw" like in cowboy movies is a lot like getting rid of the ball quick on those timing routes.

Tom Brady and Wes Welker are very good at those plays. Cam should get really good at those plays too with Smitty and the other guys.

A super accurate and super smart Cam Newton passing the ball along with his running capability would be nearly unstoppable ... just like it was for him in college football last year.

Cam just needs to dig deep and reach for higher and higher levels and STAY THERE on a consistent basis ... for 4 quarters in every single game whether the team is down 21 points and everyone is getting bummed out or the game is close and things are looking pretty good.

Cam needs to stay positive and focused and try to be a surgeon throwing that ball. Throw the perfect kind of pass for every situation. Use good throwing motion, and good footwork and so forth.

What was the name of that sports writer that caused all the furor with among other things Cam's 'fake smile'?

Did he ever retract his statements based on Cam's performance?

Nawrocki or something like that? I doubt it. You never hear Mel Kiper and Todd McShay talk about how they were wrong about Jamarcus Russell or Aaron Curry, only how stupid teams were for taking them.

lol, you're asking for God to come down and QB the team Himself. Your expectations are just a tad unrealistic :) Perfect throw every throw for 4 quarters is out of reach for any QB, the Almighty Tom Brady included. :)

But I get the point, his accuracy of course needs a little improvement, but this wasn't unexpected. He's much better at every facet than most thought he'd be this early.
