If we lose to the Redskins...

I think some people are taking the It's ok if we lose games right now the wrong way.

It's not OK. It's never Ok to lose. But most people saying it is are simply looking at the facts and feel things are getting better and that feeling is something we certainly did NOT have last season after losses.

I see losing with "style" and I hink of all the POS beaters with $2500 worth of shiny rimz rolling all over Greensboro.

There is a difference. This team is getting better. Cam is not window tint and new system. He resembles what the whole ride is going to look like once we have time to get it together.

Seeing the future and accepting shortcomings is one thing. Shrugging and saying, "well at least he got rimz on it" is another altogether. The later is loser mentality, not the former.

Take my usual cooling off period, and then move on.

BTW this 'Should beat' stuff. Why exactly 'should' we beat them? Have you seen our defense?

I'm predicting a loss, in fact I think we CAN beat them. But based on what I've seen this season from our defense, I won't say we should beat any team that capable of running the football.

I expect us to lose, but I am cheering for us. This season is another lost year, although it's much more fun than watching last year. Our defense is crap, mostly due to injuries, so all I can hope for is improvement over the remaining schedule.

We aren't a good football team folks, if we were, we'd be 5-1 not 1-5. There's a reason we keep losing, and it's mainly due to inexperience. We have a young team, but we are learning. If the young guys continue to grow and learn and play better football, we can be a force... next year, or even the year after.

Losing sucks, I really really hate it, I'm just trying to be as objective and realistic as possible.

*Goes to pickup Torrain off the waiver wire* :(

Hell I'd start John Beck this week with that defense. Last year the Panthers had one of the worst offenses in NFL history, and this year have one of the worst defenses in NFL history.

I love how people say the panthers SHOULD win. Like it is a given and we are a favorite. Last I looked the skins had a decent ground game, a dangerous wr, a decent defense and a good coach. Oh, and they have a winning record and we have a ....losing record? Yup but we should dominate them.

Be reasonable people. Stats excluded, I do believe we are of comparable talent (if the panthers were healthy would even give them the edge to us), however it isn't a guarantee. I expect a competitive game, and we have a chance of winning but I won't be mad unless we give them the game.

I'm not sure if this is a shot at me or not?

But honestly, I entered this season as a FAN knowing and expecting it to be a rebuilding year. Nothing has changed that thought or feeling.

I am happy about a few things though:

1. Progress and Maturity of Cam Newton.

2. Our down field passing game instead of Fox ball.

3. Us keeping the score close while playing some pretty good football teams.

4. Getting a lot of snaps on the D side from some young players.
