What happens to Jstew this offseason?

Too early to make this thread. Like someone said, his contract isn't up after this season, but the next.

We have this year and next to gauge how DWill is playing. It's too early to make a decision based on the small sample size of the situation. I'm with the majority that in 2 years we'll either cut DWill or he'll sign something more cap friendly.

No kidding its not up, but most teams try and sign players to an extension or make their decision on players the offseason before their contract is up. If we cant extend him for cheap, there is a decent chance he will be traded.

Williams will be 30 at that time.....there are not buyers for 30 yr old RBs w/ salaries. You just cut them if you don't want them.

Either Williams restructures or is done pending Stewart is healthy.

Am I the only one that thinks D-Will would re-structure his deal and free up some cap room for Stew?

That is what I was thinking as well. But how much can you restructure a deal for a 28 year old running back? No matter what you do to that contract it is going to eventually hurt us...either by us having to let Stewart go or by us eating a TON of money in the next 4-5 years.
