What happens to Jstew this offseason?

Dont no why this is getting discussed 15 months in advance? but I'll chime in anyways......I say let him walk by that point we will be a pass first offense and we obviously have D.Wills locked up for long time so i wouldn't be surprised if it was bye bye to the Mighty Duck (unfortunately)

re-signing Jstew isn't a big deal and most likley will happen.

Either way I think we all know Hurney has an eye for Rbs, so I'm not worried. I more worried about his ass finding a real WR and DT at this point. His Dline and WR record is horrible. Okay Dline is probably medicore but only cause his 6th round picks are panning ot while his 2nd/1sts aren't.

Odds are he'll want to go to Seattle since he was born in the State of Washington and he went to college at Oregon...especially since the Panthers likely won't be able to pay him, or maybe they will, but I doubt it'll matter.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't want to go "home" after this contract is up.

Yeah, I bet you are right just like Williams wanted to go to Tennessee because he went to college in Memphis and was born in Arkansas.

And just like Julius Peppers wanted to stay a Panther because he was born outside Wilson NC and went to school at UNC.

Oh Wait.....................

Another chicken little post from the blind oracle.

he will be re-signed.

when it's time for him to get a new contract.

which won't be for a couple years.

because it's not the end of his rookie deal yet.

it won't kill the cap. it's nice knowing that we don't have to worry about QB or RB for a long time. we've got the making of the most dominant run game ever with those two and newton once things gel. combine that with a QB that we know can throw the ball 400+ yards a game and you have what could be one of the best and most complete offenses ever. that may sound pretty homerish, but i really believe it's the truth. that potential is there. we need a little help at WR and more consistency on the right side of the Oline, but that will happen in the offseason. for the most part we have everything we need.

I don't think the panthers over-invested in Dwill..but JStew has proven to be extremely valuable. He is a punishing runner obviously, but most importantly he is great out of the backfield receiving and a boss in blitz pick-up and pass blocking. I can name a handful of plays off the top of my head that the pocket stayed intact due to stew. He needs to stay here.

Williams probably won't play out his contract. Stewart has one more year....so they won't address it until right before his contract is up....by that time there is a good chance Williams is either asked to restructure or is cut. 2012 IMO is the last season Double Trouble remains intact. Still think 2013 only Stewart remains.

of course there unknowns like injuries etc that can always dictate events.
