Why do people not understand that this FO and coaching staff is trying to build a team that can compete for years....much like the Packers started four or so years ago? Trying being the key word here and failing this far. Maybe we need better scouts.

I am surprised he got released, I was hoping he would still be on the board late in the draft because I believe this kid will be something just from the few games I saw him play. He could get separation and he made a below average QB look really good just like Smitty made Jake look good for years. He has great hands, strength to break tackle and his speed was exciting to watch. I would waive AE and sign this guy asap, he would make an immediate impact in the return and transition into our next Smitty 2.0

I actually really wanted the panthers to draft him. He was really good in college. I would like to know why the cowboys waived him.

Usually they waive someone so they can clear a roster spot to sign someone to replace an injured guy. If they clear waivers they resign them back to the practice squad. It saves money and keeps the guy to develop later.

I would love for us to at least bring him in for a look. No I don't think he would make any impact as a WR this yr as we only go 3 deep on offense, but he would certainly be an upgrade over Edwards as a returner.

If Hurney could ever grow a pair and admit to his mistakes we would be a much better team. Right know we have 2 wrs active on game days to do nothing other then handle KR/PR where Harris could do both IMO.

I just don't understand why we need to specialist to handle kick offs and punts.

Why do these threads about adding a WR keep popping up? Yeah we don't have a number 2 WR, but guess what??? Our offense is ranked number 5 in the league in total offense and number 5 for passing....

We are ranked number 32 in run defense........e.g. we can't stop anything, hell my grandma might run for a hundred yards..... therefore focus should be and I believe it is on finding a couple of DT, an OLB, hopefully a CB, and a new special teams coach.....

I'm going to agree with sagaciouspanther, our offense isn't struggling, it's our defense and special teams that are losing us games.
