I went to ECU, so naturally I'm going to pull for this guy. I never said we should sign him but at least give this guy a look at special teams. I find it hard to believe that he couldn't compete with Edwards. Maybe one day the Panthers will be able to take a return back for longer than 20 yards.

At this point, why not? What can it hurt to try him out? If he doesn't show anything, cut him. If he does, we get a steal. The guy does have potential, we might as well test it. It's not like we're fighting for the playoffs this year.
