Cam Newton vs Christian Ponder

If you are actually enjoying the prospect of facing an opponent starting a backup QB, rookie or not, you haven't been a Panthers fan long. Whether it's due to injury or major suckage, the Panthers have never fared well when the opponent starts a new QB against us. Old vet or young undrafted FA, it doesn't fuggin matter.

I don't know if Grossman will be benched, but if he is, and the Vikes go to Ponder, I have to be skeptical of our chances. I am an optimist and believe we can win every game when we take the field, but I'm also scarred by our history against the backup QB.

The only games we can win now are versus rookie QBs? Man has the tune changed around here in the past 2 or 3 weeks. After the Jags game the NFL was officially put on notice and now we look foward to games where rookies are starting for any chnace of a 'W'. I'm certainly glad work has been too busy lately for me to watch the bandwagon fall apart week-by-week.

The reality has finally kicked in where the real problem of the Panther's issues lie. It's kinda funny and sad at the same time watching the highlights and they show Cam and Stevie or one of the other guys, or even Cam himself make spectacular plays. Then they show the highlight where the opposing team have the Panther defense chasing them around the field or the "duh" moment when the defense realize they left a guy wide open for an easy TD. Yeah, it's like watching professional and college football all in one highlight moment.

How are the Bills doing with Dareus and a jouneyman QB?

Buffalo is 31st in total defense, dude. 29th in rushing defense (135.7 yards allowed per game) and 30th in passing defense (284.8 yards per game) with an average of 24.5 points per game allowed. They just have 12 interceptions to bail them out.
