Disagree. Marty is a pathetic numbers guy. No GM has even come close to mismanaging the Cap as badly as Hurney did for 2 years with the Peppers Franchise Tag debacle. He so fugged our cap he had to extend Delhomme. Some still think we extended Delhomme because we wanted to.

Hurney's draft day trades speak for themselves. I do agree his talent eval is highly questioinable.

Uh yeah, to our own detriment when you only hit on first rounders and at most....two other players each draft.

I understand what the OP is saying & do not really disagree. But it should be noted that J-Stew was our first pick in 2008 & he played Sunday & had a few good rushes.

I'm pretty sure Stewart, not Goodson, made Williams expendable, and continues to prove he's just as good and maybe better in this offense...... too bad Hurney is a sentimental fan playing GM and cant make tough/good decisions.
