I cant wait to see how well Cam does against a team he has already played before. If he starts a good record in repeats then its game over.This years schedule may have been the best thing for Newton.

Pi for your signature sir. As been said before, people some seem to look down at Newton because they did not like him before and simply are looking for reasons to say that Dalton, or others, are better or more deserving. I would consider AJ Green before Dalton over Cam, but I still think Cam is the most deserving, homerism or not.

Dalton is having an impressive season. Only an idiot would deny that. However, his defense is playing well and he's had an easy schedule. I was watching the game Sunday at the Gin Mill and there were 5-6 bengal fans. They were going crazy when the Bengals came back and won like they just made the Super Bowl. I then looked up to see who the Bengals were playing against. The Colts.

EDIT: I'd also like to add that if you think Dalton deserves ROY over Cam, you are either stirring the pot to try and get people like KT mad; or you don't have a clue about professional sports.

Cam is a very polarizing figure and a lot of people will never be Cam fans or give him due because they are still mad about Cam beating S.Carolina or Alabama last year, or don't like how his NCAA investigation ended.

He's going to have to do a few things to win it.

Start eliminating the Int.

Start winning games. <- Doesn't have to be a whole lot of them, but he needs to win at least 5-6 for the season I think.

How about some of those around him help him by beat out the defense for a ball or two instead of standing there waiting for the perfect pass to come to them.

Boy u Panther fans are spoiled.

U done gone through three QBs in less than two years because u sit there expecting each QB to come in and do the impossible...Win games with a team who act like it's the QBs job to give them wins.

U guys just might be in the lotto for Andrew Luck at the rate u're going with ur unrealistice demands for Cam, while ignoring the reality. Like 31 other QBs don't throw int. This past sunday even the so called accurate Drew Brees threw two or three intercepts..

YEAH CAM, STOP THROWING INTERCEPTS....IT'S UR JOB TO MAKE SURE THE BALLS GET DIRECTLY INTO THE HANDS OF OUR SPOILED ASS PLAYER'S HANDS. AND TO MAKE SURE U RACK UP ENOUGH POINTS SO OUR DEFENSE CAN LET THE OTHER TEAM OFFENSE RUN ALL OVER THEM..GOT THAT, BOY... SMMFH..DELUSIONAL AS HELLL

The only place I see that implied is HERE. The only fans I know who look for QB after QB to proclaim better than Cam Newton are the "Panther fans" who post here. Ive seen them do this for almost a year now. Being blessed enough to have watched both of these guys play this season its a joke we have fans here seeing all they've seen say Dalton deserves ROY over Cam. Thats just laughable. Now if you want to argue Marvin Lewis deserves COY consideration I could understand.

People who say he deserves it over Cam are usually saying it due to the fact he's producing wins and limiting turnovers. Note I do NOT agree that right now Dalton is playing better, but I'm explaining the position of others.

I can't speak for GrG or others but personally I think that if current trends continue as far as win/loss record goes, despite who both teams will be playing, then I could see why Dalton deserves it. It's not so much his individual play as his ability to lead a young team from the trash-heap to contention.

Right now I think Cam beats Dalton but I understand the wins argument, and Cam does too.

Dalton's been great, but that doesn't need to take away from how Cam has been. There is, in fact, room for both to be good players. My only hope is that the rest of our team can learn to play a bit better sooner rather than later.

If you think GRG or a couple others are bad here, seriously, check nfl.com where fans from all over post their little 2 pennies. Any time there is a Panthes or Cam article, Dalton gets brought up.

The Bengals trade of Palmer will put Dalton in the spotlight more now and more people will notice him, to his advantage or detriment.

they will say, "he is doing a great job, even to the point of trading an all pro QB in his favor, and now they have a couple extra first rounders to help build the future on this little known second rounder"

makes for great pub in ESPN. Bet in a week, the poll between Cam and Dalton will be at least even.

not from a qb standpoint.

the same way no one pays attention to rb's passing tds.

I'm not sure if you're saying this is your personal viewpoint, or if this is what you are trying to articulate that others believe. Either way, to deny the impact of Cam's rushing yards/TDs as not a positive part of his overall performance is foolish at best.
