I'm with ya all the way on this, pal. Wanted to say the same thing last night but didn't have the energy to type it all.

None of us had any hope for this season until we started actually being competitive which gave us hope. We have to be realistic and wait for our new coaches to build the team. No reason to start bashing Rivera and wishing we hired Harbaugh. I think we've done wonders with what we have so be patient people. It'll come.

Because nobody in their right mind could have predicted we would have a top 5 offense 6 games into the regular season. NOBODY!

But the fact is, we do have that. We have a top 5 offense so going 1-15 isn't as ok as if it was when nobody expected that. Going 1-5 isn't cool with this kind of offensive powerhouse especially when they are mainly doing it in 3 quarters of the game....not even playing in the 4th. If our O was only marginally better than last year, it would be one thing. But it's not. At worse this team should end the season 7-9.

You're right people shouldn't go postal. They should be freaking embarrassed by our incompetence and our ability to piss points and drives away like it didn't matter.

"Oh here...have 4 turn overs GB....there you go.....gift on us! Enjoy it! Take 21 Bears. Hey Saints...how about you come into our house and we give you 7 points on our second offensive play of the game and we'll give you 3 more on a FG at half time? Sound good? Hey Falcons would you like a pick in the endzone from us to end the half followed by one in our own 30 yard line in the 4th quarter? No problem...we have plenty of drives. Take all you want. We can get them all day long. We just hate to be the ones scoring for the win. We have a loser/rookie/young team reputation to maintain."

The College Team I root for (D2) has a fan on our message board who constantly complains that our Coach who was like 51-7 was a bad coach who did not recruit any talent, and didn't run a good offensive gameplan. This year that we are actually playing poorly he is finally correct.

Hey if you don't like your team, get another team. You have several colleges in the local area, and you can always root for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Washington Redskins, or Atlanta Falcons. Get a grip people!

Well I'm glad the players don't feel this way and are still looking to win. If the team is expecting to win every week why can't we as fans? Does being a realist even matter in a football enviroment. This isn't anything you to be real about..just go each and every week expecting a win and roll with whatever happens afterwards(and I mean try not to get so defeatist after we lose).

Do you have any idea how much pressure that must bring?

And to whoever thinks two rookie DTs are a pass for coaching, ask yourself who makes the cuts and decides who starts. Both of last years starting DTs are elsewhere right now, solely because of coaching decisions. It's not all about what happens on game day.

Rookie qb who was picked #1 overall and had all kinds of crazy expectations on him. Check

Odd off season with limited time to get the new staff and team together. Check.

Lose the heart and soul of your defense. Check

I mean come on fellas. What did you really think was going to happen this year? This is a house money season. Nobody picked the Panthers to win more than maybe 5 games nationwide so just take a step back and be objective.

The instability of some of ya is scary. Yeah I know it's a message board but good God.

We rebuilt the offense and it's good. The defense was going to struggle before it had injuries, so of course they're going to be bad now. I understand we've lost some close games, but I'm still pretty happy about this season.

this is quite false. Cam is relying on Smith, Olsen, Shockey.

Laffel is showing up now and they keep that loser naanee. Stewart is kinda getting 40 rushing and 60 passing games.

Its pretty much all cam newton man. These guys refuse to run the ball its crazy.
