So Fiz, what's your honest opinion of the coaching staff at this point? Can you please get drunk and make a thread about it before you get banned again? :)

Like for example why in the world would I take time to address a point brought up by this individual?

Not this bullpoo again, how do you fuging explain us having so many close games? Mcdermontt and his fuging all out blitzes with no coverage, Chudzinski's Hail Mary's on 3 and 2. And Rivera's pooty time management.

He's not going to learn anything. He wouldn't even respond if I broke down his post sentence by sentence, barely sensible point by barely sensible point.

This place is just too awful.

You act like I give a shit about the Huddle. I want you to make a thread for my own personal entertainment, not because I think it would add to the atmosphere.

FWIW, I can't think of a single thing I want to write about the Panthers at all, which is probably a good thing for the internet in general.

I took the points and lost a fifth of Johnny Walker Green on the Falcons.

What's completely unfair is that, as a Panthers fan, I probably need the booze more than the guy who won does.

Learned a long time ago not to bet the Panthers.

If on rare occasion I do, I pick them to lose.

That way its a win/win.

Rookie qb who was picked #1 overall and had all kinds of crazy expectations on him. Check

Odd off season with limited time to get the new staff and team together. Check.

Lose the heart and soul of your defense. Check

I mean come on fellas. What did you really think was going to happen this year? This is a house money season. Nobody picked the Panthers to win more than maybe 5 games nationwide so just take a step back and be objective.

The instability of some of ya is scary. Yeah I know it's a message board but good God.

The explanation is simple. Last year we had a competitive defense, but no offense at all, and a lame-duck coaching staff. This year we got a shiny new staff that said all the right things, got rid of punching bags like Nick Hayden and Richard Marshall, re-signed all our free agents, got Otah back, and drafted Newton (and apparently, no one else...). Then Newton takes the field and is Godly.

Is it wrong to expect that, given how good we know the defense can play based on last year's performance, we would actually out-perform last year's team? Particularly with how Newton has wildly exceeded expectations?
