I think he's worth a look. He's young, I think 25, so if he can get turned around he could be around for a while. He had 7 td's in back to back seasons before landing in St. Louis.

As another poster said, and me being a former Jaguars fan, Sims Walker has a huge sense of entitlement and he is unreliable. He has been late to practices and shown up to games with just enough time to put pads on. He missed a game in Seattle a few years back for being out waaaay past curfew. He is 26 now, will be 27 in a month, was outright passed in free agency by the Jaguars despite putting up nice numbers, and now the Rams have cut him. Do you really think he could help here?

I think with the right coaching he could. While yeah, our offense is putting up good numbers (mostly), I still don't think we should pass on a potential guy that could contribute for some time (for the right price that is). I wouldn't pay a ton, but I think we could get him cheap. We have a WR on the roster that ended someone's career in a fight and also cheap shot punched someone years later, he's still around. I know everyone thinks Gettis is the second coming of Jerry Rice on these forums and he'll recover 100% from his injury, but I'm just not sold on him, nor am I LaFell. Naanee is obviously not the long time solution either. I'm not super excited about the possibility, but I don't think we should just pass over it either without some consideration. The best teams' coaches constantly look at improving their team, and they should NEVER be satisfied and always look toward the future. It's not like giving him a look, for cheap, would STOP us from filling holes we need, if that is the case, I'd be completely against it.

WR is not a need.

WR is not the reason we have only won 1 game.

it's the defense that is having issues.

but still....we keep on seeing threads talking about every WR that potentially comes available.

I would pass on Sims Walker! I would bring in Eddie Royal for a visit now that he is on the trading block. I know people like Edwerds but I think he is one good hit away from not being able to return punts. Just saying Royal is young, has speed, and looked pretty decent when Cutler was the guy throwing the ball. Kind of unfair to grade him based on what he done with a backup caliber QB!
