Was the loss Cam's fault? Coming up on ESPN first take.

Starting field position for the Panthers in the second half. 20, 16, 20, 23, 22.

That is as telling about our defense as anything. If you think that is good scoring position you need to pass what you are smoking.

As a matter of fact our best starting field position the entire game was the 23 yards line. the fact we scored 17 was amazing.

Reality check, it's u who are so blinded by hate for Cam that u want to place every lost for this team on him. There is no place in that poster's comment that mentions Cam.

I believe he was countering ur argument in regards to the offense. Unless ur saying that Cam is the entire offense?

U are so BUSTED.

You really should let go of the "everyone hates Cam" argument. Especially when he was referring to the entire offense not just Cam.

As long as the offense is on the field they are in good scoring position :D

Maybe u should back to the entire conversation. The person he was responding to never even mention a thing about Cam. He was talking about the Panther's defense and their ability to squander the score.

Duh! How often do you see complete stalemates in the 4th quarter in the NFL? When does that poo happen? Heck how often do you see complete stalemates in the final 7 minutes? Somebody scores in the final 7 minutes in 90% of NFL games and most of the time it's for the win.

The only game we scored a legitimate 4th quarter touchdown was against the Saints, and that was only because the third quarter drive spilled over into the 4th for about 2 minutes. After that......we blew it. We blew it in Arizona. 0 points in the 4th quarter and 4 final possessions beginning in the third with nothing to show for it. We blew it in GB with 4 offensive turn overs. We blew it against the Bears when we could only muster up 3 points once again in the second half up until the very last drive which was in garbage time. Our D kept us within 3 points for what seemed like an eternity and our O couldn't even get a FG on 4 trips to go up or tie. We only scored 3 points again against the Falcons this week in the second half.

Notice a trend? Every team we have played has scored in both halfs pretty consistently. We're the only ones that couldn't do the same in the second half. It's not like our teams are playing top defenses either. The best defense we faced all year was against the Jaguars so there's no reason why we can't put up 27-30 legitimate points against these teams other than the fact we can't finish.

Our defense has nothing to do with us chocking on 4-5 consecutive offensive final drives.

Our offense had 5 possessions in the second half-5- and they got 3 points and gave away a pick. They did nothing for a full 22 minutes other than give away a turn over.

It helps when you use entire quotes. And because he mentions Cam's name but blames the ENTIRE offense that equals hate for Cam? I wish I had your logic.

honestly at the most critical part of the game, our D stood up, but our offense couldn't do anything with it and that cost us the game when we had a chance to really build on a load. When the D did get beat for a TD in the 4th, the offenses response was to hand the ball right back to the defense and we all know what happened then.

Our fourth quarter was awful and no amount of "CAM CANT DO IT ALLEONE!!" is going to change that. Our entire team blew in all three phases of the game yesterday, but especially in the fourth quarter.

The Panthers' Offense has to put up 35 points to have any chance of winning, because the defense gives up around 30 points every week.

Jacksonville doesn't count due to the weather.

Most NFL teams that score over 21 points, like the Panthers usually do, usually win most of those games. Too bad the Panthers defense is going to give up 30.
