Was the loss Cam's fault? Coming up on ESPN first take.

Misdirected my ass. Cam and this offense has scored 0 points in the 4th quarter in 3 games. He's scored 0 points in 5 games when we were not down by more than 2 scores. He's only scored in the 4th quarter when the other team's defenses had a 2 score cushion in garbage time or we played in a monsoon. And our D did its job that time, and closed out the game.

It's not misdirected. Whatever the hell happens in a football game in the first, second, third quarter doesn't matter as long as you are in a position to win before that clock hits 0.00. You can't expect defenses to shut out opponents completely in the 4th quarter....and even if they did, we would have still lost because our offense can't score in the 4th to win the damn game. Best we would have had is a tie.

How the heck do you expect to win when your offense can't finish games and score in the 4th quarter? You think other teams will just call it quits after the 3rd and lay down for our D? Or ANY D?

Our D was supposed to shut down the Falcons from midway from the third quarter? That's what you REALISTICALLY expect?

I realistically expect our defense to occasionally put us in positions where our average starting field position is better than the 19 yard line.

I realistically expect that when the offense has a turnover or gives up field position that the defense occasionally holds them to field goals.

I realistically expect them to get off the field quicker so our offense can get more possessions.

I realistically expect that they can create more turnovers and negative yardage plays giving our offense better opportunities to score with field position.

Now our offenses average starting field position was the 19 yards line. What do you realistically expect for our offense with that kind of field position??

Our offense didn't punt until late in the third quarter yet only had 17 points because they couldn't get on the field. What do you realistically expect from our offense??

When the offense sits on the sideline for 8:00 minutes at a time and get cold and out of rhythm what do you realistically expect out of our offense?

It would be wise if you took note that New England had 4 turnovers against the Cowboys and still held them to 16 points. That is what I realistically expect out of our defense when the offense struggles.

Maybe it would help alot if the defense stop allowing the opposing team to eat up the clock every damn quarter. And maybe it would help alot if ur secondary team would stop the opposing team receivers every now and then from having full reign of the field after receiving the Punt. And last but not least, it would help if the defense would actually put up a fight and get some turn-overs themselves. Like really..help the offense out a little. Or are ur eyes so fugging glued up Cam's ass to notice any of that other stuff.

First I wanna comment on your earlier post....You said Cam inherited a bad offense? Smith, Williams, Stewart, Olsen and Shockey suck and he inherited a bad offense?

You keep ignoring the reality that we didn't score any points in the 4th quarter and no defense is expected to maintain a 3 point lead throughout the ENTIRE second half.

So you want us to be up by 3 points after the half, and then pray our defense shuts out opponents for 22 minutes until that clock hits 0:00? Our offense went missing for the final third of the game and threw a pick in our own end of the field and you wanna continue to blame it on defense and special teams?

If that's what you want, and that's how you think we should be winning games, bring back John Fox. He believed the same thing. And then after you do that, go spend the next 2 years worth of draft picks on defense.

And you know what? You probably still won't have a defense that can shut out opponents completely in the 4th quarter. Not with today's offenses and all the rule changes. Heck you could have the Steel Curtain or the Purple People Eaters and teams like Green Bay, Patriots and The Saints would figure out a way to at least drop 21 on them.

He expects Cam and the offense to come out and play like seasoned Vets who have been playing together for years and are well gelled. I guess Cam is rookie who should play like a ten year vet like Tom Brady in some folks eyes.

Wow you and the other dude are losing it. Not sure what games you are watching there buddy but it's obvious the amount of damage control you are doing on behalf of Cam has completely altered your view of reality.

Our offense had 5 possessions in the second half-5- and they got 3 points and gave away a pick. They did nothing for a full 22 minutes other than give away a turn over.

And New England has the 32nd ranked defense in the league! LMFAO! That's your example? Don't worry then, we definitely have them beat! Yeah our D runs circles around New England's defense.

Not giving away a turn over comes before expecting a D to create one for you. Seriously some of you are warping and twisting everything that's considered common sense about football in order to place the blame on anything other than where it belongs.

If I'm not mistaken every game except for the Jags and yesterdays, the Panther scored upwards of twenty something, but I guess you feel that since the offense, and especially Cam, didn't score in the fourth quarter that is why they have been losing...Thanks for letting me see that it was that black and white.

When make the "you didn't watch the game argument" you should at least get your facts straight. The first posession of the 2nd half was a TD, and was by far the best one of the day.

The Patriots had 4 turnovers and held the Cowboys to roughly half the amount of points we allowed the Falcons.

If the defense was worth a poo when our offense stutters they hold teams to field goals or punts. Instead it has been automatic touchdowns. We haven't held a team to under 28 points other than the Jaguars in a monsoon. Our offense has scored consistently in the 20's in every game except the Jaguars game and yesterday.

Think about it like this. Out of all the teams that lost yesterday. Only one scored more than 20 points. You know what that tells me?? When you score 20 or more points in a game which we have in every game, except yesterday and the Jaguars game, your offense has played well enough to win.

Out of the losing teams yesterday 17 points would have beaten or tied 9 of them. Yes 9. That is an amazing fact.

Reality check, it's u who are so blinded by hate for Cam that u want to place every lost for this team on him. There is no place in that poster's comment that mentions Cam.

I believe he was countering ur argument in regards to the offense. Unless ur saying that Cam is the entire offense?

U are so BUSTED.
