OP hit the nail on the head. Our LB corp was decimated by injuries. Fua and McClain will be fine eventually. Stopping Turner is no easy task. Especially when you throw three INTs and keep putting the defense back on the field. Sorry Cam is human and just like our rookie DT's he needs more seasoning.

I thought the defense was OK yesterday all things considered. There were two plays yesterday that the Falcons D made that changed the game. Both plays were pretty amazing and crushed great drives and put our d back on the field prematurely.

yes, the Moore tip that led to a pick was almost as amazing as the DT pick on that screen. 99 out of 100 DT's dont even touch that pass much less come down with it.

Although our DT's are not spectacular I thought the last couple weeks they have played pretty well. Most of the big runs have come on the outside and that is on our DE's and linebackers. For every great play Anderson makes he makes 2 questionable ones. He has been playing this game for years so why the hell is he going to try and tackle Turner up top? We had a ton of poor tackling by our LB's and that has got to change. It's like the complete opposite of last year, our offense is trying to outscore the opponent since the D is so bad where as last year our D had to hold because the offense couldn't score. The loss of Edwards, Davis, and Beason has put this D in a hole they just can't get out of.

Yup, pulling guard vs. linebacker = long day for linebacker.

DT's need to penetrate, force double-teams and we don't have one that can do that.
