part of me wants to know how the comic story line goes...

I don't know what is going to happen, but if Rick doesn't do what I want him to do at some point I will be ticked off and hope he gets eaten by a zombie.

Did anybody else feel like they could have done Dale a solid and at least told him they decided not to kill the kid? He's lying there dying with his guts ripped out, you could at least make him feel good that he helped salvage some humanity within the group before he went out. I thought for sure Rick would tell him we're keeping Randall alive, you were right, or something to that effect.

Rick is this unquestioned leader and he had an opportunity to do right by Dale, and he kind of just let it go by. Then I thought Daryl would say it to him but he didn't either. I was like damn y'all cold-blooded.

what if Shane gets taken out but it's not by Rick...is it that you want Rick to do it...or is it that you want Shane dead?

Rick has to do it...but being the little girl Rick has been I bet he won't do it. Carl will probably be trying to shoot a coke bottle and miss wide right killing him.

Shane is too big of a dick not to die at some point...

Am I the only one who thought it was odd they didn't tell Dale that Randall was still alive? Just to give him something to go in peace with?

Anyways, lol at anyone who is going after Rick for not having "balls."

Its' easy to act in fear, regardless of how much you build something up to be the "tough" decision. Killing a teenager in cold blood without any other reason than paranoia isn't "strength," it's being a coward. It takes strength to show mercy. When it comes down to it and the rubber hits the road, Rick has shown time and time again that he is the one who can actually make the actual tough decisions. He's spared Shane's life when he could have left him, he drew first on the guys in the bar, he was the one who put Sophia down in front of her mother and everyone else when noone else could, he is the one who has gone to bat for Shane and his minions time and time again and risked being able to stay in the supposed safety of the farm, he left Merle on the roof.

Time after time after time Rick has shown the ability to make the tough decisions, not take the coward's way out, and it's why he's become the group's leader.

Major spoilers are on this link. These are confirmed and don't click it if you don't want to know what happens next episode. You've been warned.

It amazes me the leak this show has. I basically heard about Dale getting killed 4 months ago, but refused to believe it, based on his role in the comics and the actor relationship with Darabont. Heard about a few other things too from the same leak that I'm afraid are going to be true.

PSC, you might want to read this synopsis I have about the final episode witch airs in two weeks. It's regarding about that person in the comic you asked about. It also has to due with this particular sneak peak that aired on comic men last night.

This highlighted part is MY OPINION about a minor spoiler if you will indulge me, again nothign confirmed for the season finale

.......the person/thing they see stalking the farm is Michonne......

One more speculation: The actress who will play the bad ass Michonne is Rutina Wesley

Shane will be proven right again. Don't think telling Dale that Randell wasn't killed really mattered with his guts torn open. Showing mercy in this world really is taking a huge risk. Is it worth it to spare Randell if he kills one of the group or if he escapes and brings his group to the farm? Sure he may not be a threat but is it worth the risk to you, your family, and your friends? Its fine to take the moral high ground...until it backfires on you. Its easy to show mercy when there's no risk yourself but in their world every decision is life or death. Humans devolve the quickest when laws are gone.

    • Something I find interesting is that you are more likely to find successful players as UDFA's than you are to find them with a single pick in any round past 3.  Those 3rd round compensatory choices?  Largely worthless.  Yes, I get it, there are a lot more UDFA's than there are drafted players in later rounds.  Basically, if you're fishing for starters you are simply not going to find anything in Rounds 4 - 7 with any regularity.
    • the argument that Dan Morgan was assistant GM for years while running counter to everything both his bosses signed off on (who look down at him and his staff for info).....is a tough sell.  I feel we do a variant of this every year.  You aren't this bad...becuase of 1 person.  You are this bad because of LOTS of bad people.  It was never just Joe Brady.  Which is why firing him didn't lead to better offense.  It was never just Matt Rhule.  It was never just Fitterer.    As bad as we are, we need to scorch Earth this puppy and quit letting people who were part of making the mess be the designed folks to lead us out of the mess.  when David Tepper and Jim Caldwell found the answer on the roster......it was clear from the jump nothing had really changed.
    • "Buckaroo." That's good. 🤣👍 Mature beyond his years, clearly. Brian Burns was a far more justifiable asset to trade for a good return during the 2022 season, than DJ Moore (who was shipped out the following spring). Do you disagree? Let me know. I'd have traded Burns before McCaffrey, and I wouldn't have traded Moore at all. It's possible, despite what Morgan and Fitterer display, to turn down a bad offer. Thirty-one other teams are aware of this. That brings me to Johnson: if your "leverage" is "he wasn't gonna re-sign," you have no leverage; which, as you said, means you shouldn't make a trade, right? Do you disagree? If so, quickly adjust your prior stance. Giving up No. 1 in 6 and a standout WR, even if he's petulant, for No. 30-32 in 5 = demonstrably stupid. Keep the comp pick if he re-signs, or see if he can be convinced to stay with a new non-Shedeur QB.
