The Walking Dead on AMC

Rick stepped up and put Shane on notice. Damn them women and their bullpoo there - wasting good zombie-killing excitement with their lifetime drama going on.

Lot's of characters got a week off - no Glenn, T, Hershel, Dale, Carl, Carol, Daryl that I can recall.

What I want to know is - how come the dude they were going to strand, the one they pulled off the fence post, how was he walking around as good as he was after one/two days?

yeah i don't understand how the kid is up and moving around either, but whatever. they never actually disclosed how much time passed between episodes

one thing i thought was strange about the walker in the field, it seemed to be walking away from the farm when they first saw it, then it was headed back towards the farm when they passed it a 2nd time. i took it as kind of a foreshadowing.

Yeah, I don't like it when they focus so much on the dumbass women... man I wish a zombie would eat Lori. Sucks that they forget about some of the other characters sometimes too...

what's the deal with those two security guards that didn't have bites?? is it in the water???

Obviously they're gonna do something with this angle or they wouldn't have mentioned it.

I didn't really get the whole Rick and the kid thing... first he has a moral objection to leaving the kid to be eaten alive... now he risks his and Shane's life to dump him off all alone somewhere where he'll probably just die anyway... I think Shane makes some good points about Rick's inability to lead the group. I'm hoping that the writers are leading somewhere with this stuff and not just making it up as they go... because right now some of it doesn't make much sense. Maybe that's the point, that in a situation like this, things get all fuged up...

Either way, this episode was a lot more intense, which is never a bad thing...

There was none of this in the comics. I like that they are steering away from the comics with the side stories & missions.

ONe of the things I was thinking about was this...What if the first half of Season 2, where it was a long drawn out, looking for sophia deal, what if the writers were doing that on purpose, in order for the audience to grow annoyed with Rick's leadership? Do you follow? Perhaps the writers are so smart, they are helping create that real life riff feeling with the audience & the show??? I myself, think Shane is a nutjob, but he is right about most of the stuff he takes a stance on. He just cant control his emotions and is a hot head. Rick does have his flaws, and he has made some questionable calls.

Who thought that Rick was really going to leave Shane behind? I did, lol.

I also am beginning to believe that Andrea could become evil.

Again, they are going a totally different direction than the comics, and everything I think I know, turns out to be completely different.

rick has to make stupid mistakes and pay dearly for them. that's what drives his character degeneration.

i also think kirkman is taking this opportunity to rewrite the comics into what they should have been. this part of the comics is so rushed and wooden that i'm really appreciating the flesh on the bones.

last night's episode just seemed really short for some reason.

Lol, every episode of Season 1, and the 2nd half of season 2 has felt that way!
