So who would you like the Panthers to draft with our 4th overall pick?

if we take a WR with a top 5 pick... I'll sh*t myself. It has to be DT, CB or OT imo. Based on best player available at those particular positions.

the offense is pretty much set, they are only going to get better in time. We seriously need an influx of talent on the Defense. Would not mind one bit if all of our picks were spent on the D.

Right now i pen our most important needs in no particular order

Pass-Rushing SLB type good in run support (Davis's career is over. Would prefer picking one in the 2nd round who is at least 245 lbs)

Versatile NT (2 gap preferred but I'll accept if he can at least competently play 1-tech)

2nd WR (Could take care of this in FA [e.g. Vincent Jackson, Dwayne Bowe]; if we draft one looking for a deep threat with great hands)

OT Depth (Someone who primarily plays tackle but can also slide inside to guard)

Someone show me prospects that can fit these criterion

I dunno, maybe I'm dumb but if Kalil is there I think you take him...

First time poster here. But what does everyone think of Dre Kirkpatrick out of Bama? I think he'd be a hell of a CB if he used his size more

wouldn't take him in the top 5, but I do like him if we manage to trade back a ways.

I would not mind another Kalil on the roster, the first one turned out great. I've defended Otah for the last time. Guy is a hell of a talent but he is in and out of the roster way too much. Can't be relied upon, and while Bell has been OK, I wouldn't exactly pencil him in as the solution at RT for years to come.

My bad should have been more specific, just meant in general. Deffintally would not take him in top 5 more like 8-15

Depending on how he plays the rest of this season I could see that range for sure. There are a couple nice CBs this draft but I don't know if I'd take any of them top 5.

One advance we may have in trading down is that there should be another QB or two sitting pretty in the top 5 for someone to trade up for...

But I stand by the fact that if Kalil is there, we should take him, he is just so dominant...

Unless we take one of the 1st round CBs, I just don't see how we can improve that position from its current state in the draft.

Kalil might be top 3. As bad as our defense is, at least our offense can move the chains. Minnesota, Indianapolis, and Miami I think are the worst teams this season.

We may need the #2 pick to get Kalil, actually, but I guess we'll see.

I agree that those three teams are the worst right now but a lot can change, and schedules can cause one or all of them to pass us quick in terms of records.

Newton gotta have someone to throw to, and Smith is getting there. They still double teaming him. And Gettis, who knows how he respond, knowing this damn team with injuries

doubt they pick that high, but if they do, then i HAVE to go Alshon Jeffery. i know a DT is a bigger need, but you can find one of those in free agency or use a 2nd round pick on one, Alshon Jeffery though has a chance to be a star and pair him up with Smith and Newton can only get better. and dont forget Justin Blackmon too.

We need a play maker

That's what we're lacking. Cam still a rookie. Steve the only one out of receivers. Shockey can help move the chains, thats it. I expected us to see Olsen much more, idk if we should extend Shockey. We got our 2 RB, but they rather pass so its starting to look like we're wasting them. C.J and J.A on D and Hardy coming into his own. Thats it excluding Beast. Mind as well not even mention T.D anymore. Then none on returning the ball
