Marvin Austin has not even seen the field. You can't bank on a player being healthy. Only late 1st DT I can think of who has done anything so far is Phil Taylor.

That is exactly what I said. You said we could have a Healthy Marvin Austin. He is injured just like many players on our team. There for you can not bank on a player being healthy.

If you can name someone besides Phil Taylor starting and doing better than our mid round DT's from the late first round and through the second let me know.

I've appreciated Hurney's ability to find starter-worthy gems late in the draft over the years, but seriously, after this year...

This is the first time I'm really feeling like we need to fire him and go a different direction.

Again, I loved the Rivera hire, but I would've loved the Harbaugh hire much more. Throw in the multiple wasted 2nd round picks over the years, the refusal to sign vets if they require a a bit more than the minimum, and his misses on WRs and DTs over the years... I've had enough.
